About Us

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive substance abuse program for women ages 18 and up. We are a faith-based, twelve-week residential program that encompasses all aspects of addiction and recovery. OR "Empowering women on their journey to recovery through faith-based principles, our comprehensive 90-day substance abuse program is dedicated to fostering healing, restoration, and holistic transformation. Through personalized care, evidence- based practices, and a nurturing community, we equip women with the tools they need to overcome addiction, cultivate resilience, and embrace a life of sobriety and fulfillment.

Doris Littleton, executive director of Home of Grace for Women, Inc., has been chosen the 2013 recipient of the Mobile Bar Association's Liberty Bell Award. The Liberty Bell Award was established more than 32 years ago by the American Bar Association to recognize an outstanding citizen who, by his or her services, promoted a better understanding of the Constitution, encouraged respect for the law and courts, stimulated a deeper sense of responsibility and/or fostered a better understanding and appreciation of the rule of law. Mrs. Littleton was presented with her award at the annual Law Day Luncheon of the Mobile Bar Association on May 24. Past Liberty Bell recipients include: Casi Calloway, Joseph Langan; Mary Zoghby; Johnnie Sue Watts; Archbishop Oscar Lipscomb; Judge Michael Zoghby; John U. Our Board of Directors

Our Objectives: Provide a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Create a welcoming and secure space where women feel comfortable sharing their struggles and beginning their recovery journey. Promote Spiritual Growth and Healing: Offer an inter- denominational program that allows opportunities for faith exploration, reflection, and growth, providing resources and guidance to help women strengthen their faith. Implement Evidence-Based Therapeutic Interventions: Utilize evidence-based practices, including individual counseling, group therapy, and psychoeducation, tailored to address the unique needs and challenges of women recovering from substance abuse. Promote Family Reconciliation: Offer resources to help women rebuild trust, mend relationships, and foster a supportive network of loved ones in their journey toward recovery.
Admission Criteria: This program is specifically designed for women aged 18 and above who are seeking support and treatment for substance abuse issues. Prospective participants should demonstrate a genuine desire and commitment to overcoming their substance abuse challenges and actively engage in the treatment process. Individuals seeking admission will undergo a comprehensive assessment by our intake counselor. NOTE: We are not a medical facility and do not accept insurance. Individuals with certain medical, mental, or emotional conditions may not meet the criteria for admittance, so a different level of care may be suggested.
