Community Outreach Initiatives

Additional buildings were acquired or built, and in 1982 a campaign was authorized by the United Way of Southwest Alabama for the purpose of renovating existing buildings. Through efforts led by local attorney, Emmett Franklin Hildreth, Jr. additional adjacent property was acquired, increasing the size of the campus to 271 acres.
